This national trade association had valuable free resources for members and prospective members, but too few people were finding and using them.
A major issue was structural: the association’s Resource Center lived on a subdomain, which made discoverability more difficult and weakened the connection between those resources and the organization’s broader digital presence. The association had meaningful educational value to offer, but traffic to the Resource Center was low, visibility was limited, and too few users were reaching the free resources designed to build trust, engagement, and long-term membership interest.
Lagraphia stepped in to strengthen discoverability and resource access through a connected strategy that included SEO, high-value citations and listings, social media content, and PPC.
From April through November, the campaign helped generate 2,335 engaged conversions, increase reach by 1,256%, improve conversion performance by 41%, and support 102 new memberships in eight months.

The Challenge
The association already had real value to offer. The problem was not the resources themselves. The problem was visibility.
Its Resource Center contained free educational resources intended to support members and attract prospective members, but it was housed on a subdomain, which made discoverability harder and limited how strongly that content was connected to the organization’s main digital presence. Valuable content existed, but it was not getting enough traffic, enough amplification, or enough visibility with the audiences who needed it.
The association needed more than content creation. It needed a stronger system to help the right people find, access, and engage with the resources it already had.
At the same time, social reach and engagement were not strong enough to consistently drive attention back to the Resource Center. The organization also needed stronger SEO support, better off-site authority signals through high-value citations and listings, and PPC to put important resources in front of relevant audiences more consistently.
In short, the Resource Center had value, but not enough discoverability.
Lagraphia’s Approach
Lagraphia approached the project as a connected visibility and traffic-building system centered on the Resource Center.
-
SEO to Improve Resource Discoverability
We strengthened the association’s SEO foundation to help more users find its Resource Center and free resources through search. This improved visibility around the content itself and helped the organization build stronger discoverability despite the limitations of a subdomain structure. -
High-Value Citations and Listings
We helped strengthen off-site authority and discoverability through high-value citations and listings. This expanded the association’s digital footprint, improved trust signals across the web, and reinforced the visibility of its brand and resources beyond its own site ecosystem. -
Social Media Strategy to Increase Reach
Lagraphia developed and supported a social media content strategy across major platforms to increase awareness of the association’s resources and drive more attention back to the Resource Center. The goal was not simply more posting, but more purposeful distribution. -
PPC to Drive Targeted Resource Traffic
We used PPC to direct more relevant traffic to the association’s free resources and engagement pathways. This helped put high-value content in front of the right audiences more strategically and more consistently. -
Stronger Pathways to Resource Access
The broader strategy was designed to help users move more easily from awareness to engagement by making the association’s educational value easier to find and easier to access.
How This Supported AI Visibility
Because discoverability is no longer limited to traditional search engines, this work also supported AI visibility in practical ways.
SEO improvements, stronger off-site citations, broader content distribution, and clearer reinforcement around the association’s free resources helped create a more recognizable and corroborated online presence. That matters because AI systems often rely on structured, repeated, and externally reinforced signals when identifying relevant organizations, brands, and resources.
In this case, the work supported not only traditional search visibility, but also meaningful traction in AI-driven discovery. By month 8, the campaign was generating an average of 13 brand mentions or citations per month in AI search tied to the association’s Resource Center.
That is significant because it shows that the association’s free resources were not only becoming easier for people to find, but were also becoming more visible in the types of AI search environments that increasingly influence how users discover information.
The Results
From April through November, Lagraphia’s work delivered measurable gains in visibility, engagement, and conversion.
The campaign generated 2,335 engaged conversions and improved conversion performance by 41%.
Reach increased by 1,256%, growing from 4,704 to 63,771 monthly people reached. Engagement also increased by 473%, moving from 67 to 384 monthly interactions.
Most importantly, the association achieved stronger visibility for its Resource Center and free resources, helping more people discover and engage with content that had previously been under-accessed.
The campaign also supported 102 new memberships in eight months, showing that stronger discoverability and stronger pathways to free resources helped contribute to broader organizational growth.
What Changed
Before Lagraphia, the association had valuable free resources but low traffic to its Resource Center, weaker amplification across digital channels, limited visibility due to the subdomain structure, under-leveraged social reach, and a weaker overall system for getting people to the content.
After Lagraphia, the organization had stronger SEO support, better off-site authority through citations and listings, more strategic social visibility, more targeted PPC support, and a stronger discoverability system for driving users toward its free resources.
The shift was not just about promotion. It was about making the association’s value easier to find and easier to access.
Why This Worked
This project worked because Lagraphia focused on the real issue: not a lack of value, but a lack of discoverability around that value.
Rather than relying on one tactic alone, we connected SEO, citations, social media, and PPC into a broader visibility and traffic strategy centered on the Resource Center.
That made it easier for users to discover the association’s free resources, easier for the organization to expand reach and engagement, and easier for the brand to build stronger digital signals across both traditional search and AI-driven search environments.
The result was a more visible Resource Center, a stronger engagement ecosystem, and clearer pathways from awareness to action.
