This led to significant economic opportunities for our artists through the sale of art and teaching opportunities.

Pahuna played a huge role in helping the International School of Tanganyika advance efforts to better support our diverse community. She was pivotal in helping to form our communities DEIJ committee, and was instrumental in advancing initiatives to support education and support for students, employees and parents. As a member of our PTA, she had an opportunity to work collaboratively with groups of parents to support learning experiences for our students, and advocate for the needs of students in our care. I can recommend her highly and know that she was essential to our work to embed conversations and change within our school.
Pahuna Sharma Laden’s contributions have been transformative for Chadron Hope Foundation. After attending my Rotary Club talk, she organized a mental health day for mothers of children with Down syndrome and facilitated a key partnership with the International School of Tanganyika. This partnership allowed our children to participate in an Arts Festival and access an afterschool program, providing invaluable resources. Additionally, Pahuna encouraged us to organize a Kilimanjaro walk to raise awareness and funds for Down syndrome, which we are currently implementing. Her support has been invaluable to our success.”
